I think it's quite surprising because I don't recall us ever paying money for a second choice keeper before. I posted that a week or so ago and only 2 names got put forward, 1 from 25 years ago and 1 from 40. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but...
£4m on a back up keeper does seem an odd one when there's usually a load of that type floating round on a free. Hopefully it's a sign of an increased budget rather than a strange use of what we've got to play with.
Don't doubt that we need a back up GK but this isn't a signing I can get excited about , especially when we need so many outfield players.
I've seen no evidence of it but let's hope that the recruitment team is capable of working on more than...
Hard to get too excited about a back-up GK but by spending £4m on one,.. I’d hope it shows we have pretty decent funds to spend on our priority positions too.
** Don’t vault me when the RW is Jack Harrison and RB is Ashley Yong re-signing.
Yeah it is gruesome at times alright but the setting is so beautiful. You can only imagine what a major storm is like for the islands off the West coast.
Morning everyone.
Well I enjoyed the Madonna film but I'm more Desperately Seeking Rain than Susan.
Garden is wilting before my eyes. We don't have a hosepipe ban ( yet ) but watering a 2 acre garden even with a hosepipe isn't easy.
Anyway...
It has got me thinking about island life and whether I could do it. I have no plans to do it but I admire what must be a tremendous sense of community.
Everything. She didn't like the story , particularly the bit where he chopped his finger off.
I pointed out the great acting and the scenery - she wasn't interested.
Which is interesting as she is a Mulrooney 😂
