Let’s be realistic, he’s been miles better than both Godfrey, and Holgate before him. Those are the types of punts we’d have been looking to bring in and hope they panned out. One of them was a ^£20m buy as well.

People just understand the perspective of the club, the squad we currently have and the fact that we don't have an unlimited budget. We need a RB, LB, CM, ST, RW all before we think about replacing Michael Keane as a 4th choice CB. -
