The way I see it a deal has been on the table since last summer that he’s stalled and stalled on signing. I imagine the club have now offered a contract more in line with his injury/scoring record (which they’re well within their rights to do)...
Makes total sense to offer him about half what he’s currently on. Probably also makes sense for him to leave to play first team footy. Can’t complain whichever way this one goes. Just glad the club are proving they’re evolving.
