Been said already I think but the media write-ups just keep coming - it's great that there's so much attention on Grealish because of his profile and flying start (and our few good games in a row). Means basically no one has mentioned Dibling at...

Absolutely! He's a decent championship midfielder. Which is an absolutely enormous credit to him at age 18 - that's very very rare and reason to be hugely excited about him as a prospect. But again it does mean that right now he is a decent...

I just want to point out that throughout his whole loan at Derby last season he played one through ball. Again this is not me saying he's bad! He's a fantastic prospect! But people just really have to adjust their perception of what a fantastic...

As I’ve said before, Tom Davies captained England u21 (which is a significantly higher level). It means very little. It’s better not to get so carried away by young players based on hearsay and little evidence.

Death, taxes and football fans wildly overestimating how ready their youth prospects are for top level football. Maybe it's worse here tbf because this city has seen the two best teenage talents ever in the prem (possibly ever in this country?)

Something something Harrison Armstrong... (not that I'm down on him, just think people need to pump the brakes a bit on assuming he'll be the solution to our midfield from next season etc)

Wonder if we'll see Rohl and Dibling on for Gana and Ndiaye later in the second half given they played the full 90 last night.

That Camara at Senegal is fantastic btw. Can we get Gueye in his ear to come over and be his heir apparent

Better striker yes, better full backs yes, their good CMs are injured atm and I'd take our attacking 3 over theirs right now easy. Should be a good game I think but I fancy us

Be interested to see it but I think we'd miss the ball-winning and disruption of Gana hugely.

to some extent yes but Barry, McCarthy, Barkley was a stronger midfield than we have now, with the likes of Osman and Gibson as very able deputies I don't think you cant count the lieks of Ndiaye and Dibling as midfielders in this day and age

It will be far better for him and for us that he did. There was little he could contribute this season, and he will get invaluable everyday experience to hone his craft. Much like Branthwaite.

Btw he is not close to lazy. He did basically three things for Southampton last year: dribble (elite), win fouls (elite), and pressure opponents (well above average). He puts the work in.
