One name randomly mentioned by ‘Benj’ on Bobble’s podcast was Rocco Reitz from Borussia Monchengladbach. 23, holding midfielder and I believe he was pretty impressive in the U21 Euros, might be one to keep an eye on.
Yet again your insecure faux-macho persona shines right through.
If you can't wish well on an ex-Everton player, that's fine, but it's not weird for those that can.
I mean I tend to skip your posts whenever possible but yes, I read it.
Lucky to pick up his wage, the wage he earns playing football, when he can, when he's not blighted by injuries he doesn't want to have.
You just sound more resentful he got...
Much much weirder to get so twisted about people simply saying they wish well on an ex-player lol. One whose goal literally kept us in the league no less. But you're well hard for not having any of that girly empathy stuff so it's all good.
There's been a few, Horne, Doucoure, and Cal-Lewin. They've done the business that's been needed to continue our survival.
That shiny new stadium we all like so much? We don't get that a division or two down.
Loved the maradonaesque pic after...
Me too. I’ve nothing against the lad, quite the opposite in fact.
His goal against Palace was my second favourite moment at Goodison after the Bayern semi. And I liked him making heads explode by wearing what he wanted to wear.
You make it sounds like he just sat down and pocketed his wage and didn't want to contribute which is bollocks.
And who said they wanted Leeds to do well?
He can do well and they do terribly, obviously.
Because I like him as a player and it's always sad to see players get blighted by injuries.
Leeds are beneath us and will remain that way. Doesn't make any difference to me or Everton if one of their players does well.
Feel so bad for him. That last goal he scored for us against spurs was absolutely top drawer, felt like maybe he was about to fully get his mojo back playing for Moyes, then immediately injured again. Must be so hard psychologically.
Always...
That's a v small sample size generally. And 15 out of 20 matches he played in were as a sub, which skews stats a lot, and for Barcelona, which also skews stats a lot.
Not saying he's bad! No idea. Just that there's not really much to interpret...
Hard to learn anything from this really when it's coming from limited sub minutes for Barcelona.
I would hazard a guess that he's pretty good defensively though - I imagine those tackles and interceptions would be a LOT higher if he wasn't...
Do think he'll get a solid 20-30 mins tomorrow even if just to be able to rotate players more. Gives another player more of a rest ahead of the weekend.
Here's hoping Moyes has been pushing for him so the recruitment team rang west ham.
EV "Hi it's Everton, is Soucek for sale?"
WH "It depends what you are offering?"
EV "OK, Cheers, so that's a no not for sale under any circumstances then..."...
My point is that we cannot afford to max out on players with no sell-on value. We don't have enough assets yet that we could afford to lose them next summer. Tarkowski and Gana will probably need to be replaced next year (or at least have an...
