    My dad had a prius and now an auris. Most serious mechanical issue he's had was a tail light bulb blew after 8 years.

    Went from a 2 year old BMW (owned from new) to a 12 year old lexus when I decided to stop having a car finance payment. The lexus is infinitely better built despite the age.
