I get your logic but he is a proven PL player with 15 goals and 18 assists in just over 100 games for us. That means he has likely positively impacted around a third of the games he has played for us. Ill take that as a squad player as would be...

This time last year he was actually our best outfield player. I hope he stays and adds to the squad depth.

I don’t think he’s what we need. He’s similar to Tim in that he has lots of strengths but lacks a bit of craft/positional sense in midfield. I’d sooner develop Tim.

I think Ndiaye technically gives us that option. It really would be more beneficial to have an overlapping right back to help with the width when Dibling cuts in. Jake is great, but everyone knows that's not his game.
