Ran the show, yesterday. Didn't think he had that type of performance in him, albeit against lesser opposition, but here's to actually getting him back in the midfield for league games.

Tried to find a clip of his pass to Beto for the break that lead to the 2nd goal. If anyone has seen it please post it. It was a brilliant ball, hopefully a precursor to this lads potential.

Didn't do a great deal when he cam eon yesterday but some of the touches and little shimmies he does to completely send a defender when he's not even moving at pace were signs to me that there is a serious player in there.

He's just a good squad player imo. Turns well on the ball and looks to play forward, doesn't take too many touches in general but can turn and carry us up the pitch. He doesn't have the quality on the ball that Grealish, Ndiaye and Dewsbury-Hall...
