As it stands, transfer wise we’ve not done much of note. Despite the fanfare and promises we’ve extended contracts, made a loan a permanent and bought a youngster with potential. Promises of ambitious elite players hasn’t delivered at all. -
FEveryone else seems to be making signings without clubs stalling them to find their replacement. Even we did it with Barry. It’s not an excuse. We have a squad of 15 useable players.

FThis idea that we bring in top quality on deadline day is nonsense though. Broja, Dele.. loads and loads of examples of these being the worst and most desperate signings we make.

FSorry, again, why would we be getting the player at the top of our list on deadline day? No serious clubs acquire their priority targets on deadline day, even we have never done that. Our deadline day signings are bums like Broja and Dele Alli...
