It’s what I would do. He’s really close to being a good player at this level. He just lacks some pace or strength to be more effective in the PL. Weirdly, I think he’d be effective in a possession system, which doesn’t help us.

Wouldn't be surprised to see McNeill leave if a suitable loan replacement is found.
