For me , they should not have abolished the DoF position .
The new set up appears cumbersome and ill advised .
I would have preferred them to appoint the best DoF they could attract ( someone of the calibre of Rangnick) .
Dismissed Moyes with...
Suit Moyes down to the ground :
Dibling Name Meaning
English (Devon): from an unrecorded Middle English dilling, delling, dolling ‘dullard, a dull person’.
We should have picked a core of players for say the next 3 years and bought younger players around them.
Then the final cherry may have been Grealish for example.
We also shouldnt be signing players that wont be potentially profitable.
Boro always flatter to device. Get some good young attacking talent, for example just got thst young Norwegian from Citeh, but always seems to come up short. I like Hackney and Azaz, unsure if they're Prem standard, but sometimes a punt needs taking.
Might not have been the greatest example but Milan are a pathway to the top. Joining Everton is a pathway to running your contract down for 5 years before disappearing into obscurity. Players like that don’t want to come here
Wages wouldn't, when he went t to spurs he stayed on roughly speaking his Everton wages of around 90k pw, only difference is the spurs one is loaded with added bonuses on certain targets etc - so better as long as he and the side performs
It won’t happen .
But I don’t think wages would be a problem for Richarlison , he is one of the few players who genuinely wants to be an Everton player , he’d be happy with a fair wage here.
I had hoped that with the new regime we would see a potential Everton player and buy him. Instead we are still abolute champions at seeing a player we need and bidding less than the selling club wants. A skill that I had hoped was no longer going...
And would at least show some fight in games. I'm tired of having a load of fannies in the team, who just stand with their hands on their hips while we get dry bummed by a newly promoted team.
Yes, but we're talking about Richarlison.
The fact is he is a very decent player and certainly better in his position than what we have and what we've been linked to.
Moyes certainly wont see it as "putting his job in jeopardy".
He'll see it as playing to the fans and pushing the blame elsehere.
Hes done this everywhere since leaving.
