Cant believe the transfer window is so slow for us. I'd have imagined that players would be running to join a team managed by Euro-Conference League winner Mr Moyes. :coffee:
Or you bring in a prospect to develop and learn. I'd rather have someone like that English lad at Toulouse over someone like Jonny Evans. (I know he's retired, was an example).
Don't even think it's me being weary either, I just think I can't get used to the relative prices.
At some stage, our luck has to change and he comes our Isak.
Im upbeat about the season ahead, and if we can make a profit on him in a year or...
I’m suggesting that he is an absolute handful for defenders but is very liable to spoon a golden opportunity when it presents itself. I like Beto, I think with better players behind him (and not just on the left), he could be a fine option at ST...
Yes but again we could have easily kept up with that revenue. 20 years ago is when they started to build their brand now look ar the difference.
I agree their league form was atrocious but I'd swap seasons in a heartbeat
Fred is the player we should have been buying last year, he would have went straight into the starting line up and would have improved things right away. He would have offered a bit of steel and would have played regularly. We needed that sort of...
More of a general point than specifically Barry this but, does it wind anyone else up that we’re not in for this kind of young upcoming talent at the leaving the (e.g) Swiss League stage?
I’d prefer Woltemade myself , but if he leaves it will be to bigger fish than ourselves.
Barry has too many echoes of Sandro for me , I was badly burned by my support for that purchase.
I just see no benefit whatsoever about getting annoyed or upset about it.
There is nothing I can do to influence what this football club does in the next 3 months or indeed ever.
