…never knew that one. I have a vague recollection that he and Farouk Engineer lived in Erskine St for a short time in 1960s (the current site of small industrial estate near the old Royal Hospital).

Love to see more Armstrong in the regular lineups this season. The loan spell really boosted him and it shows.

I do think we have a player on our hands here.

Rooney scored a hat trick in preseason I think and still never started all the games. Fingers crossed Armstrong will get a fair crack

Yeh he's a big boy, and he looks pretty fast, but just don't think that's enough in the modern game. But we'll get to see him and Thomas together all season for the U21's - hopefully.
