It certainly feels like Mike Walker territory but we've been saying that since FSW.
I don't think any manager could consistently get results out of this group of players.
I agree we are unlikely to get any points back. I think we’ve lost to some good sides and today maybe the Christmas fixture congestion caught up with us.
…but even with the 10 point deduction we still aren’t in the relegation zone. Not saying we are definitely safe but I don’t make us favourites to go down.
This is my fear. Would anyone have expected us to reach 47 points this season? That's what we have to achieve to stay up. Unless we are given some of our points back.
The injustice of it all makes me sick. If we do go down it will have taken a corrupt points deduction to finally see us off.

We reminds me of Villa when when they went.
They clung on for a few seasons, kept changing managers and steadily got worse. Then they had the season where they finished bottom. I fear this is happening to us now
I don't think anyone is saying we are already relegated but it all just feels very familiar after 2 very disappointing seasons.
We will lose more than we'll win this season but on paper this was a game we should have been getting something from.

A popular opinion also seems to be that Bournemouth didn't turn up. I would totally refute that, Bournemouth were looking for the win untill the 100th minute.
The narrative does seem to be that we have been narrowly escaping relegation every season for 20 years.
Apart from the past 2 seasons we haven't been in serious danger since 1998.
Even when we finished 17th in 2004 I don't recall being concerned about relegation at any stage.
