I am slightly pessimistic about this as Swansea City last year had a similar case in relation to 2 players (one of which was Daniel Situ) where they failed to get international clearance and had to wait until the January to sign them. They had to wait about 14 days for the decision from FIFA...

I think he is a classy player and at times he looks like he could be really good player. However, he is too laid back and does not look hungry enough to be a really top player. Maybe its a confidence thing. He needs to play more next season if he stays and establish a proper position for himself.

I like Arteta but he did not have a good season so although I would like him stay he is on a long contract so we may get a decent amount for him. At the end of the day if a player wants to go then I see no point in keeping him.
