Of the young lads:
Armstrong (not even sure he’s classed as a young lad now!): pure quality. Should be in the first team squad this season sharing minutes in the number 10 role, he looked better there than deeper in the second half, but...
Hopefully we have more incomes for the next friendly...the lack of attacking quality available from the first team is frightening...beto looks already match fit. Great work ethic despite having poor service.
Preferably Fellows , I’d say he’s the weakest of the options you have said,
Ok maybe McAtee is more of a central player.
And by all accounts we haven’t gone back to West Brom after Moyes turned down the chance to get him in January. Seems like...
I almost think the opposite (about the first bit) to be honest, he's just taken for granted as being part of the squad now in most people's lists. I agree on his potential though.
The Roma links are obvious and often lazy however, I’d be amazed if Everton and Roma aren’t working together in some capacity, even just to gauge player costs etc
Going off the demand for new players all over the gaff, I don’t think Armstrong is being thought about as much as he possibly should is all I’m saying. I could see him dislodging Garner as the season progresses.
Even your pal park is a good example of quality control, yeah there were 'ok' sticking plaster freebies available but he clearly believes in do it right, do it once.
We might not get in spectacular players for each position but I'd be amazed if...
Mark is a great example mate, we could have went with someone random at low cost, but we've made a significant investment in Mark not just the fee but the whole package, we made it very attractive for him to sign.
A bit of thought and investment...
