What do you make of the "What the Papers Say" feature on the club site? I think it's bizarre to do a roundup of rumors, even with a disclaimer, and especially odd to just pick two out of the many floating around. Today they posted about how the...

“Link” is a euphemism for “nonsense speculation.” It’s mostly content mills and clickbait sites connecting the laziest dots, like whether links have been made in the past, who has the manager worked with before, who’s available for cheap at the...

Paying to bring in a 32 year old who’s spent the last two seasons in a league that would be third tier in England is something, but I don’t think clever is the word.

My controversial opinion is that Fred for about 10m or so might actually be a clever signing.

I keep telling myself I'm going to stop paying to this stuff, but I got curious and started poking around what's been written about him in Europe (French, German, and Spanish). The gist is the following: He's from a poor background, but an...

I'm not overreacting mate when I say he'll probably be the greatest player of the last 50 years.

You technically don’t need 8 homegrown players. You can have 0 homegrown players your registered squad would just be smaller. Or you can just find 8 victor anichebe’s.

This is impossible. You need at least 8 homegrown players, and you’re never going to build a 25 man squad with 8 foreign players registered for at least three years before their 18th birthday.

No mate. Don't know any of that. Let's hope he can start soon though - this is a huge summer!

Have you seen any specifics on when his gardening leave actually began? I don't see anything, but his gardening leave apparently isn't connected to a move to Everton, but to restructuring, which may be connected to the FFP investigation. The...

Angus Kinnear seems to be a good fit. He has a track record of making successful and profitable moves to new stadiums and avoiding PSR issues. Nick Hammond is supposed to be a real get. He brought a young Frimpong to Celtic for £250k and later...

Forget all the players supposedly "linked," "tipped," and of which Everton are "aware." Let's take a moment to feel hopeful about this: Angus Kinnear, CEO Chris Howarth, head of strategy (The Friedkins also bought his data analytics company...

I watched it all yesterday. In general, he comes across really well. Some of the comments he made made absolutely no sense and seemed like he was just trying to sound intelligent. At one point he compared being a striker for Everton as a "chicken...
