at 22 years old even if he doesn’t hit the heights the club think he’s capable of we could get that money back. Him and beto isn’t that bad an attack with charlie and skilliman behind them we are starting to shape well.

Lot of money for us still, but a price you pay these days. Hope it pays off. Branthwaite long term, starting striker, Alcaraz could start worse. Gueye worries me a bit. Sadly missed out on tete.

You just know Dyche would favour Doucs. He’s a known quantity.

Good that there are not bunch of leaks on one hand, but frightening it's as quiet as there is not much missed with off topic, shouldn't be the sense here tho.

I just had these weird thoughts that Messi joins us not fully fit, Dyche was still our manager and has to watch Doucoure playing his position from the bench.

Met him, fantastic guy. Shame he can't retain possession at all
  • Delargeinho
His touch to start the set of up Doucs for the first goal vs Brighton away (the 1-5) is ridiculous, one of the best pieces of skill anywhere in the league that season. I want him to stay for two reasons - because I've always rated him despite...

He has his brilliant moments, Villa goal away was good, Rome in pre season last year or that goal was classy. But for me, these moments are too rare to be seen with then also very shocking misses in key times, which is the majority in his case.

One point is: He wouldn't cost less in the coaching staff probably and we seem to look for a RB, despite having 2 main positioned there, but Patterson still isn't fully convincing yet and Coleman is aging and too often injured. Hope Tete comes...

I would have been curious whether he would have turned up like Beto under Moyes without the injuries. My guess is no. But I agree, cannot justify him being in the same wage region as Gueye, Tarks and Pickford that show performances on the pitch...

Can't tell anything bad about him as a human being and professionalism, but unfortunately he's not a very good footballer.
  • Delargeinho
Better to part ways, the return hasn't been good enough. As a squad player for 50-60k a week, maybe, but his demands surely aren't much lower than his current 100k wage, which is will be among the highest in the squad. I think there were rumors...

Liked him, and could get used of goals like last year against us, this time for us.

A good statement that we can keep the player with our biggest sale value and that there is ambition. Has a lot to become a big legend if he chooses loyality over money.

Not talking about this chap in particular, but don’t think we should carry on buying players that have played 482 times on the left, 98 in the middle and 4 times on the right when we need a right sided player. And vice versa. Versatile players...
