I think there’s a pragmatism to Branthwaite. We hold all the cards, we have another year option on him and we haven’t got PSR problems. Be great if he stays, and it’ll need to be a British record ie over £85 million

Remember that random rumour about RS towards end of last season. Not worried about Branthwaite at all. Will be here next season and then next summer becomes pivitol with his contract starting to run down.

Don’t see Branthwaite leaving this summer and after that really depends on whether we see a further upturn in results next season.
