Will it be ok with Hill Dickinson if we carry on calling the club Everton?
I'm sure someone at the club must have asked them that, btw.
What a palaver. Tail wags dog story isn't in it.
I do think the Everton identity could be far more prominent.
They could have replaced the Hill Dickinson branding along the cladding with "Everton Football Club".
One less manifestation of the sponsors branding wouldn't have made that much...
Even if they managed to turn it round now by deadline day, it will be more by accident than design.
The summer will finish with some bad impressions and general mistrust.
Not at all where I thought how things would look.
No, I'm suggesting that this stadium of ours is very noticeably festooned with the name 'Hill Dickinson' and it's swamping it to the point where we have no identity at it apart from 4 badges in the outermost and uppermost corners of the west and...
It's literally the word 'ARSENAL' in 7 foot lettering in front of the stadium.
That's the back of the stadium overlooking a railway line mate.
I googled Alama photos of that stadiums and the legend that came with the it is what it says...
That photo isn't 2006 though it's sometime between 2008-2009. Check out Google streetview the Arsenal wording over their shop wasn't there in June 2008.
