Seems like you´re talking about at the time but I think it´s important to live in the here and now where we´ve just had our worst season for 15 years. Of all those players you mentioned up there none had a good season, which equates to a poor...

The signings came far too late. Sidibe was low risk but adequate at best. Delph a disastrous signing. Iwobi just pure desperation for a massive fee. Didnt get a centre half and seemed obsessed with Zouma who isn't even good enough in the...

I think I recall Sam saying Tosun was the best striker in Europe in the £20million price range. Which in itself is quite the statement lol

A fair few of them seem fairly at ease with 'not getting away' with it though.

I think one of the biggest factors about Goodison is our own players know they can´t get away with half arsed performances. Our fans would be all over them. Take that away and do you really think this bunch would be motivated enough to get...

Our home record is only reason we've comfortably been mid table in recent years. No chance Bournemouth, Southampton and Villa would have came and played like that with a full Goodison. The fans are extremely grumpy and could support better but...

Barkley would be the best midfielder at the club if he was still here. As it happens, he might not even make Chelsea's bench at times next season. Puts into perspective how big the challenge is for us to compete towards the top of the league.

If we enter next season with Bernard or Iwobi as our number 10 then we might as well write the campaign off before a ball is kicked. You could give either of them a 3 month run in that position only to confirm that neither has what it takes.

But he was capable of scoring goals last season which is more than can be said for a lot of our team. I don't want him here but that goes for so many of the first team squad. If it came down to a choice of who I´d want bringing off the bench when...

Granted he's had an awful season and we'd all like to see him gone but he is capable of getting 10+ goals, or at least he was. I think he has more to offer than Iwobi, Davies and Bernard, which isn't saying much, but I'd prioritise making sure...

I genuinely don't want him. My friend is a massive Southampton fan and used to scout for them. He is very knowledgeable about their players. He sees him as an average midfielder at best. Now, he may be superb in a side where his job is to win...

Unfortunately I think there are at least 7 clubs in the league that are absolutely streets ahead of us at this point. Not happening for a few years at least imo
