If they follow their usual pattern there'll be a standard 4K release in the near future, the set I've got has all the discs in a regular size case.

I like Arrows stuff but I could really do without the posters, postcards and books they stuff in there. I've hovered over the Man With No Name stuff a few times but I've a sneaking suspicion there's gonna be a boxset at some point down the line...

'Hard Target' is ham, a great big hock of ham. Van Damme couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Vosloo camps it up as well. Henchman for hire and Schwarzenegger lifting (Hess) buddy Ole Thorsen is there as Damme fodder. For a film so loaded...

I can agree with all that. I've only got a very vague memory of No Escape so I'll have to revisit that. But.... Van Damme at peak mullet, a 1993 Yancy Butler and Wilford Brimley playing Cajun. That ain't so-so.

It is - there was a few pounds more of him back in the day by the looks of things. The level of effects / stunt work is genuinely good even without a "for the budget" qualifier. I'd guess he just liked keeping busy or maybe there was a touch...

Henriksen made a load of these around this time, 'near dark', 'johnny handsome', this. How did an actor that was such pals with Bigelow and Cameron end up with so few options.

Muscles, mullets, bikers, inept store robbers, gratuitous boobs, a stupendous leather duster jacket and Lance Henriksen. Incredible, just incredible.
