After positive vibes coming through since Moyes came in to the rescue, I felt the upward trajectory would continue with astute business in the transfer market, and also the release of those players who could not improve the side. Furthermore...

De Rossi's 4 leagues games last season was 3 draws and a defeat and he got sacked. Moyes should be worried. Brighton clear faves to win on Sunday.

He is not what we need either way and horrendously overpriced.

No, he’s not even good enough to be our first choice left back in his natural position yet. He’ll be out on loan next month.

It’s spunking money on useless players across Europe that put us in the mess of the last few years. I would take proven PL any day over the flops we've signed from abroad.

I said as much already. But the idea that because he used to play for Brazil he must be good tells you people haven't been watching much of Brazil over the last number of years. Richarlison is better than we have - but that's a total indictment...

No it wasn’t, seen much much worse displays even last season. Also when you two of your back four missing and they never played that four at all in pre-season, it was never gonna be easy. The club have clearly tried to do the business they need...

There would be uproar if we had been refused the same pen, so I can take that decision on the chin. The first half is the most disappointing bit. We needed someone in the middle to take charge and calm it all down.

Doucoure was a big miss too. I wasn’t a fan, but with Beto we have no one putting their defence under pressure.

Not even close to it, there will plenty on here crying each point we gain.

They doubled on him and he never lost the ball once. What did you expect him to in his first 20 mins with only Beto ahead of him.

Ndiaye and McNeill should have started off on the wings, Alcaraz was there for legs but we couldn’t get out of our half first half. O’Brien found himself on the right wing and at right back, no wonder he struggled.

Games last night would ruin Armstrong very quickly. They picked up on Garner and O’Briens fear in the first five mins. You could see them like rabbits in headlights and giving it to Pickford every chance they had instead of being more confident...

So many people will hope we are in a relegation fight just to show you this comment again. Unfortunately we have a large online fan base who prefer us to lose just to make a point.
