I thought we’d got rid of people like this when we got rid of our last managers. I was hoping we had fans who understood football by now.
You can’t make it up these days, Footy manager fans everywhere.
Is 'dithering Dave' now on his jollies? Really doubt anything will happen between now and July so may as well sign off until then...by which time most, if not all, our 'targets' will have gone elsewhere, anyway.
Moyes was very meticulous in his signings, and the billions we have wasted since he left, shows it’s not a bad thing.
The managers since with the DOF’s squandered more money than any Manager Moyes and pre-Moyes could only dream of.
Nothing dodgy about it at all, they done everything within the rules, it’s what happens when you employ the best of the best in their roles. The only negative for Chelsea is if the women’s game manages to reach men’s levels in the next 30 years...
Honestly if we invested all our serious money in quality full backs & a rapid top end right winger/forward we would have an exciting first 11 imo. I think it’s where we would see the biggest improvement per £ in the team.
But chatting about...
Hopefully never if it’s someone like Onana. Any of our midfielders can pass it five hands and cheerlead. We need someone who play decent through balls for the attacker to run on to.
They have the opportunity every day in training to earn a spot, if they don’t it’s on them.
The amount of people breaking through has nosedived since Unsworth left.
Moyes built his best teams first time round with some players who had been highly rated and then got lost.
Moyes would have done well with Alli if he had got him before the injuries, he got a cracking season out of Lingard.
I’d still steer well...
Grealish gives the midfield and strikers plenty of time to get forward, he can hold it up and go past players.
I don’t see us signing anyone close to him this window in terms of ability, which is why I think he’s out of our reach.
