Because he is glacial slow. Alcaraz has a goal in him, is superb with his noggin and can run. Soucket would struggle to keep up with the kick about in his local men"s shed.

Soucek in the Doucoure role is a substantial downgrade. If we need a 10, that is Alcarazs position and he puts a really good thru ball for the striker. And costs nowt

Conor Gallagher would be a great addition imo. He would really fit in nicely with the players around him.
