    Financial Fair Play investigation

It is quite a frightening read that, were we not in a similar position in the middle of last season? Then put in a couple of shock wins to take our average above that? I'm just going off our average numbers historically and factoring in that I think we are up against lower quality rivals this...

    Financial Fair Play investigation

Yeah I think 'this season' 28 points keeps you safe, possibly even 27. As we've been averaging just above 1 ppg, we should be expecting at least 38 points, possibly 39 or 40 looking at those rival 3 or 4 teams. A 12 point reduction would be doable but extremely tight and no doubt very nerve...

I know what you're saying but that particular paper has questioned the Saudi takeover process a number of times. These are just a few! https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/sep/26/documents-reveal-tory-ministers-push-to-smooth-saudi-newcastle-takeover...

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

Yeah one would have thought there would be a club strategy led by the DoF who has been in post for nearly a year.

Thank for posting that. Reading some of the details is a bit of a shock to me to be honest.

Love these throw away statements. Here have a read, note that some of these figures relate back to the four years before we had real cash to spend in 2016. The worst part about that list is it a European list rather than just PL, also there is only us and Villa who have nothing to show for it...

But we have had that level of investment, one of the biggest spenders since 2016. Just wasted it, that's the difference.

    Ancelotti?

And there in lies the problem - who is next for us? Who would you choose? Remember Lampard was the preferred choice of the fans and the board agreed.

You mean like ordering the hot dogs and ale? He's directly responsible for appointing the manager(s) and all of the senior staff. He's been directly involved in some transfers and interfered with others, directors of football have been undermined. So I'm not sure he does actually trust them to...
