Well obviously I have an American perspective, but I've never understood the royal thing. It's so outdated, and the very idea of giving one family primacy over the rest of the population seems almost bizarre in this day and age.

It just sounds dead derogatory. The rest of the country say it as if it's something to look down on. Loads of older folk I know of hate it too, say it's like the way cardiff supporters call themselves sheep-shaggers.

Yeah, was off the board for a while. Life went a bit crazy for a while (loopy stalker ex-lodger - I kid you not - work very trying, dad seriously ill etc) then I was in Spain for a month. Everything seems to have settled down now, thank [Poor language removed].

I had a great time. Loved the away sector going mental after the Blackburn game. Looking forward to a meet up before a home match. Will give us a bit more time to have a decent chat and drink.
