I went to San Sebastián in April and went to watch Sociedad. They lost 2-0 and were awful on the day but I remember thinking Kubo looked very good, quick, tricky and worked hard. San Sebastián is fantastic by the way and well worth a visit.

Why would you assume that? There could be a decent younger lad coming through or a decent backup going on a free. Right now there isn't.

If the alternatives as rumoured were a rapidly declining Ben Mee or spending actual money on Adam Webster, I’m happy he’s signed on again. Seriously doubt any 4th choice we would’ve brought in would have been any better than him.
