I want the players and fans lungs to be hanging out of them tomorrow. We only get one chance to say goodbye, Goodison deserves the best send off. If your not normally vocal, be vocal If you don't normally sing, sing If you normally get there...

First game was vs Leeds in 1995, 0-0 and all I remember is being freezing cold. Last game was vs Newcastle this season, 0-0. Seems fitting somehow.

Im taking encouragement that the Young lad will be leaving. “Lots of factors influence our decision-making and we’re currently working through that process with the players, which takes time. Some will have clarity by the end of this week, and...

When we signed Ashley Young, I was dead against it, over the past couple of years I've come to realise what a great pro he is. I'm not sorry to see him go, I think its time, but, I thank him for his contribution. He has been very solid in...

If we’re negotiating with Keane and Doucoure they need significant wage cuts to reflect their actual value to the club. Keane’s 80k p/w needs slashing in half whilst Doucoure, according to two different player salary sites, is our top earner on...

He was very good for us early on this season and apparently was good at holding players accountable in the dressing room. He played enough that he’ll need replacing as Coleman’s body simply can’t do it anymore. All the best Ashley.

…turns out there was plenty of unnecessary angst. Young has been very decent for us, terrific professional and played for us as though it mattered.

Implies we haven't offered a contract....if we're keeping Coleman but ditching Young that makes no sense to me, Young at least has excellent fitness & good availability.

Beginning to think at this point they should have paid themselves to call it the "Everton, that Stadium" A name that probably all of us could have got behind.

We build a brand new state of the art stadium on the banks of the royal blue mersey, and the only thing they had to do was not call it something penis related. There's a reason the phrase 'Everton that' exists.

Ashley Williams. Passed it or just not arsed

Criminal to have Gareth Barry in there, what a player he was for us. Never really showed his age to my memory.

Exactly my take on it. Think getting rid of every experienced head in a time of serious transition would be foolish too. He'll barely play but he'll hopefully act as third choice right/left back in case of emergency. I might cry if I see him on...

Not bothered about Young. He’s on very little. He can cover a number of positions. He was playing great early this season too - 3 assists, 1 goal isn’t to be sniffed at. You can’t get a whole new squad in one window, so keeping a few old heads...
