    6 + 2 Point Deductions

I think there is 0% chance of this being dismissed / thrown out. A settlement would seem to be the most likely outcome. Burley get something and avoid a protracted and delayed outcome, and we limit the damage.

Burnleys claim is for £50m (!) and that Borson guy (yes I know) is saying £10m could be the final figure. Even if it was half that, it would be a very significant payout. I imagine the legal fees are substantial too. Unless the case is thrown out, it's hard to see us not being stung for a...

    6 + 2 Point Deductions

I agree, the consequences of a judgement in Burnleys favour and any degree of a significant reward would open up a huge can of worms. It was interesting to begin with that Leeds and Leicester decided not to pursue this. Was it a case of people in glass houses and/or just deciding not to open...

"International Dispute Resolution Center". Makes it sound like trying to end a war, not a spurious complaint from Burnley ffs. My concern is that this is going to automatically result in some agreed settlement - not too much for us, but not too little for them. The problem from the offset...

    2025/26 Michael Keane

I admire the resilience he has shown. Played well again on Saturday. Good on him.

I'm confident we can give them a game. It's all the other variables that go in their favour that is the issue.

1p is too much to give them, let alone a couple of million or more. Can't rule anything out though because it's us. No hospitality for Burnley when they visit. I'd offer them some mouldy leftover pies from the bin and they can have them outside the gates.

Disappointing. Too flat second half. Subs were needed.

Reasonably happy there. Kept possession well, looked compact and showed intent. They came into it more as the half progressed. Need a strong start to the second half and hopefully can take a chance that comes their way.

Beeb noticing Everton…..veiled hit piece or genuine reporting….

It's just nice that things have improved and there is positivity. This time a year ago the Friedkin takeover has not been announced, we were battling down the hatches for another relegation battle, there was no money, and little to no hope, apart from the new stadium. I thought that whilst it...

You could say every game is a barometer but I do think this is the type of opposition we have to look to beat, at home, if we are looking to make measurable progress this season and threaten to finish around or in the top half.

We need to talk about Nottingham Forest.

I saw Forest described yesterday as akin to "an aggressive startup". You can't argue with their achievements in recent seasons, relatively speaking. They are ambitious, and look to act accordingly. Ultimately though you need a bedrock of stability and they do not have it. I thought at the...

    January Transfer Window 2026

Would imagine that January is going to be utilized purely for short-term loans to the end of the season, if needed. I was surprised we didn't do more loans on TDD, but they may just have decided to keep their powder dry till January in that respect. Even then I imagine it would be used...
