It's very good news. I hope we can do well enough to keep him here until 2030. We would have much to look forward to if that's the case. Either way, it's ensures we're protecting and enhancing his value to us.

Here’s a thought, enjoy our new home, if we become successful, maybe, just maybe our owners will want to expand. In the meantime, it’s 52k and absolutely fantastic. On the banks of the royal blue Mersey

Sesko and Ekitke going for big money. Delap only going for 30 because of a clause. He's in some good company there. It was only 11 goals but this is the exact profile we need to target. We can't sign them once they hit 15 or more because 15...

Agreed mate. ;) If you look at the no 9 position mate, Beto got 8 and Dom 3 - that's 11 PL goals over the season in the league - we need to maintain or improve that. I guess the question is can we improve on Dom's 3, i believe we can - Michael...

15 goals would be at the very top end of what we could expect imo. If Beto and another could get 22-25 between them, it would be great. You need nearly everyone contributing something.

I think that's encouraging. He is bound to have asked Moyes to give him a flavour of the calibre of players we're trying to bring in and must believe we will be able to compete.

Personally don't see the appeal of any of those things. Just more grist to the cliche mill.

That's how desperate we were as a club and fans. Hopefully a thing of the past.

Has been persistently linked for a year or two now. Looks a decent versatile option to have but really don’t think he moves the needle too much in our attack

I'd expect the club to compete for these concerts etc. Is there any economic case for a roof and making it more all purpose and atttacting other events? I know that's a longer term thing as well, but with the debate on increasing capacity, I'm...

I know City fans who literally can't be bothered going to Wembley anymore. I mean lot of that might be cost but his lad is 14 and said he's been Wembley nearly 20 times. Nuts when you consider where they were 30 years ago.

Perhaps eventually I'd get tired of constant success, but I'd like to test that theory. Being an Evertonian to me mirrors life in general, and actually that's part of the appeal. But I do think, just as life has its ups and downs, we need some...

I'm not a big fan of that kit. I like the wave concept, but not the design. The colour seems darker which I like, and I must admit to being a fan of blue socks with white shorts.

There is a stadium in Valencia's called the ‘Nou Mestalla’ …which has been under construction since 2007 but remains half-built due to Valencia running out of money. Construction was halted in 2009, having built only a reinforced concrete...

I think Nottingham Forest have done it the right way. I think you'll see more of cha ginger hands of ownership should it occur. I wouldn't be surprised if Watts ended up as "owner", should we clash with AS Roma.
