A 36 year old rb started, got injured and Moyed chose to replace him with a 40 year old left back rather thna bring Patterson on. I would be genuinely amazed if Patterson was with us next season?

Minus the heading ability, he`s the closest thing I`ve seen in a blue shirt to Tim Cahill, probably quite a bit quicker too. You don`t become an instant fan favourite at Everton unless you have something about you, plus even if he didn`t work...
