Can easily afford him, can we convince him, who knows, would be a wage rise, he was willing to move to Italy so not a home bird. Seville made it clear they want to sell him... Hopefully we've at least spoken to him about the idea.

I suspect the club is keeping their powder dry. If something comes up, at the right price, we will do business, but the club is not being held to ransom. Maybe the infamous leak has been squashed, hence being all quiet on the western front. @MikeH72

I dunno. If you listen to Moyes presser comments, he suggests he's been looking for players that have attributes we don't currently have. Gallagher doesn't fall into that rationale.
