Not sure how you could’ve possibly come to this conclusion because we’ve had a bid rejected. If anything this is far more encouraging that we are serious about this deal than a tweet from Fabrizio Romano.

Reckon this will get done then. Assuming all reports are true, the player is keen and clubs are not far off in valuation, and this was our first bid which you'd never expect to have accepted. Blimey.
