Agreed. The key thing is getting the right players at the right price. When that happens in the window is completely irrelevant. The success of the window can only be judged when it has closed.
I think there's a middle ground between signing for the sake of signing and panic buying at the last minute so hopefully we can actually find it this window. Yes crappy players get signed but we also have a tendency to consider every player here...
