Injuries to knee ligaments generally require long lay offs. I would be suprised if we saw him again this season. Huge blow, someone be it Pienaar, Osman, Gosling, Cahill, Fellaini, Castillo or Rodwell is going to have to really step up their game and become the heartbeat of our midfield.

I wonder how flexible they are going to let clubs be with regards to this extension due to the weather..

Cant see this happening unless we get another body in to play up there. I get the impression that there's a lot of deals around that depend on other clubs signing players and so on, which makes me think they are generally unlikely to happen at this late stage.

I feel honoured to have David Moyes at our club, his attitude is fantastic. He is one of the best managers in the premiership and has the desire to take us places that I believe we can go with him at the helm and a decent squad behind him.

While this must surely be a nail in the kirkby coffin. Wasn't Wyness the main man, who was doing a bad job, in terms of transfers? Surely the fact that he has gone when we are in such terrible need of signings isn't exactly a good thing.
