Good players get relegated, they get bought, bad to average ones stay at them relegated clubs and go back up and back down again its very easy to pick out free’s that have worked at 20mil signings that haven’t. I could find you loads of free...

I agree. I hate the 'do a job' mentality. Brownhill would compete for a first team place though. He'd definitely compete with the likes of Garner and '30 million Euros' Mangala.

The ideas of squad fillers and backups is a poor mentality because they cost the team when they play. It’s about creating competition.
