What would the extra seats add to the cost? Hundreds of millions. If we had gone ahead and built a stadium of that size we would have a huge debt burden around our neck. In fact we would already have gone burst before TFG ever entered the scene.

It will be very hard to sign any of the better players from the promoted clubs. The rewards available for staying in the Premiership will far outweigh any fee they may earn in a transfer. I certainly think there are at least two Sunderland...

He will also be 24 next year which I think means City won't get any compensation if he stays in English football.

Not really. According to Spanish law all football contracts must have a release clause. Release clauses are usually set unrealistically high. When Barry signed for Villareal last summer his release clause was set to €40 million. It was way over...

Does anyone know how many goals Beto had chalked off for offside, it must be around half a dozen. Most of these were borderline decisions, he could possibly have ended with around 14 goals or more. Frightening to think how close we were to...

Its counterproductive to set the whole of the youth team playing exactly the way the first team is. 1) Doesent make sence for a 16 year old playing in a style or system that a manager wants whos unlikely to be there in the 5 years hes ready for...

I agree with this 100% mate. Id we had done the above, over the last 8 years we would have been preparing teams to play the Martinez, Koeman, Allardyce, Silva, Ancelotti, Benitez, Lampard, Dyche then Moyes way. Good luck finding some continuity...

You don’t nurture a player by having them fourth choice and not playing regular football.

I'd keep keano as a squad player yeah he's been dodgy as some games but he's also been solid and scored no transfer fee and a squad player

Hopefully the appointment of Nick Cox will be followed soon by the appointments of new U21/youth team coaches training progressive football. The style of play of Utd youth teams is very much possession based football. Please god let hoofball be a...

There's certain posters on here that will scoff at almost every name that gets brought up so I wouldn't let it deter you on mentioning players that you think could offer something to the club

We can, but the fact that we havent done any deals so far would suggest we want to wait till the next PSR window. 10 days left of this "window" so plenty of time for us to sign somebody, seems unlikely at this point tho.
