Not sure how that can be. Plenty of people will purchase their tickets (maybe more than one, assigned to other members in order to sit together) on a laptop or computer. Tickets then saved to everyone’s respective digital wallet on their phone...

You're right, of course, but if he had 3 good years here we'd be left with a player with not much of a sell-on value. That's always a consideration. That being said, as long as the rest of your trading is younger players who you can make profit...

That sounds fine. It’s just completely bonkers that a 27 year old player who would clearly improve us should be disregarded because of a dogmatic obsession with buying young.

The older players should be the best we can (responsibly) afford. Bournemouth and Brentford are also selling clubs, with no greater ambition than upper mid-table. For eternity. Our ceiling is much higher and that’s the attitude we should have...
