There’s no point having a back up striker who is never fit and barely scores when he actually does make it on the pitch. His wages can be better invested elsewhere so we are not stuck with him into his 30s.

I don’t understand why he’d want to stay. Never gonna be first choice and should surely want to be playing regularly somewhere at his age.

I can’t believe there are genuine shouts for him to stay. We want to reduce our wage bill - he’s one of our highest earners. We want a fit, robust squad - he’s a crock. We want committed players - he’s ran his deal down hoping for better...
