He played a lot in preseason...probably too much due to poor planning from the recruitment team. Now he is playing the price for it.

He must be looking forward to a season on the bench...and probably no medals for him this season. I guess he still has his 160k per week, so not all bad.

Well we may have no choice to play him sometimes...I mean he is much better than job going forward, which is not difficult, but very poor defensively...so there could be matches when perhaps we are chasing where he could he useful

I know it would never happen, but watching Baines play a few weeks ago at BMD, he’s still better than most in the league right now.

I mean worst case scenario (job injury) you could still use patto. Not ideal, but better for the balance of the team than using garner.

Perhaps a loan would have been nice...or another young upcoming striker from some low league somewhere.

And what about the striker...we went for 4 last season, to 2 this season...let's hope nothing happens to barry/beto

I dont want them in those positions, thats my point...they should be playing in their best positions...I dont want to see another performance like leeds where there is no balance in the team...

So we have garner as emergency rb, ndiaye as emergency striker...this is no good. There should be at the very least 3 strikers in any pl club...and having a cb at rb until at least January that's also very poor from a recruitment perspective.

I know there's leaky bladders over no RB I'm perplexed we haven’t got another forward. More experienced forward needed.

Especially as we dont have a replacement for garner in midfield...

Or we could plug the hole with a loan player (like various Prem sides have). Sidibe was actually passable, and a player like him, instead of having to waste Garner there would have been preferable surely.
