Been low cloud and the odd shower here for last 2/3 days, despite a fabulous forecast. The Red Arrows have just packed in after about 10 mins as cloud returned.
Took stuff out of the freezer for a barbie yesterday as it was supposed to brighten...
Bloody hell. A red jet just flew about a 100 feet over the top of my house.😀
Completely forgot the Red Arrows were here for Falmouth week.
Two more just went over. Took a pic then remembered I can't post it.😀
Well my early evening entertainment is sorted. The girls set at Zsiget Festival is being streamed live on YouTube. Then my other obsession, Chappell Roan, is on an hour after they finish. Just enough time to get some tea in.
Have a good evening...
My favourite 80s Tribute Band have dropped another single. Bit different to their others but the 80s influence is still unmistakable. Can someone please tell me who this sounds like. I was thinking Cocteau Twins but that isn't it.
Probably my one big find from Glasto The Osees reminded me so much of early 70s Hawkwind who were a massive musical influence on me as a kid and the first band I ever saw live. The new album is pretty meh overall but 2 or 3 tracks stood out, this...
New album from ethel Cain. Too much ambient stuff but scattered in between are some really beautiful songs with great synth work. This one's probably the most user friendly.
Pissing down here so nothing to do but share with you guys all the new music I've been listening to lately. Soz.
Royston Club new album is fantastic. Reminds me a bit of The Cribs.
Waco, Texas. Just wow. Felt so melancholy afterwards it took me an hour to get my head straight again. Last time that happened to me was when I first heard Alone The Cure.
A good show but a bit meh. As I walked back into the city I caught the end of the Darkness set and wished I had been there instead. I believe in a thing called love sound tracked my way back to the car.
