It was written about the Warrington Bomb in 1993 so it may have been road tested at Feile then but I’ll never know. It does somewhat divide opinion in Ireland but for most it is now just a sporting anthem. Even Rory McElroy’s fans sing it to him...

For me that’s their best song. I never actually saw them once over the years which was a shame. I remember throwing a strop because I wasn’t allowed to go to this with the older lads I used to hang about with. What a line up now I see it again
