Just saw that the president of Beto's first club - not the KFC 5-a-side - has told Amorim to sign him for United instead of Gyökeres!

No he never. He had loan spells at both Blackburn rovers and PSV. Not a great option for 4th choice centre back if they’re contracted to play for another club.

We were linked before he moved to Southampton. The amber flag is that Southampton sent him on loan rather than using him. However, they also did the same with Alcaraz. Looks a decent ball winner and when he receives the ball seems to drive...

Shea Charles is another "utility" type I was referring to with Timothy Weah. He covers multiple positions. All that concerns me is why was he loaned out when Southampton had a Championship level squad last season? Surely they could have utilised...
