To be fair you could say either would equally be a gamble but calculated ones due to obvious talent. Big difference playing in France to playing here and there’s no guarantee that Fofana would be the better investment.

Dibling is a talent , no doubt but £35 mill is a huge sum for someone at his stage of development. That said he ( like Aznou) is the sort of profile of player that we should be targeting. If he fulfills his potential he has a very high ceiling.

He’s right though. I’ve already said I’m yet to be convinced, but there’s no doubting he’s already garnered a reputation for himself at 19 years old. If he was ours I’m not sure we’d be happy entertaining 27m bids to be honest.
