It'd be like James x 1 million. I'd give so much to see Messi in an Everton shirt.

It’s astonishing how many kids have Inter Miami shirts - all over the world - because of him. There’s zero chance of it happening, but in the fantasy land where he joined Everton for 6 months, it’d be absurdly transformational for our profile.

You thinking it’s easy isn’t sufficient to make it easy.

He wasn’t perfect — no striker ever was, he missed a load of sitters, had spells where the ball looked like a bar of soap. But he gave us moments — proper Everton moments — when we needed it most. That header against Palace? That kept us up...

What would make you think there’s a chance he’s not been ‘genuinely crocked?’ You think there’s a chance he’s been faking his horrific injury record?

Superb win. Carsley has played an absolute blinder in this tournament.

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with a blood cancer, Myeloma, that caused catastrophic spinal and wider bone damage. I needed surgery alongside my chemotherapy, spent four months bed bound and had to learn to walk again. I spent the best part of a...

I think it’s time because he probably thinks it’s time. I think Moyes could get the best out of him, we’ve not really had the chance to find out. But I certainly wouldn’t begrudge the lad a fresh start, he’s had some very tough times at Everton...

Thanks to it continuing as a working stadium, It’s no longer just the land value that’s important if we were looking to sell Goodison. We’re all too well aware that it’s not state of the art - but it was a top flight stadium in the biggest...

Miss the buzz of going past whenever I could and seeing it grow right before my eyes and grabbing pics through the fence to post on here. Fascinating from day 1. Onwards and upwards blues 💙

We’re also lucky it’s happened when drones are relatively cheap and offer excellent video quality. Hats off to all who have kept us up to date all over the world.

I’m gonna miss having a new stadium being built. Checking in, seeing it grow. Such a rare thing in the history of a football club and certainly one of the few pleasures of supporting Everton in the last few years.

The worst kept secret really. Even if he doesnt make the pitch all that often anymore, he clearly has plenty of influence off of it. Has never been on a big wage either. I'm more than fine with it personally.

So with Seamus confirmed, are we up to the heady heights of 15 senior players now?
