So it looks like the extension they talked about previously was adding extra rows of stones where those timeline stones were intended to go, and the timeline stones themselves have been shifted up in line with the support pillars.

I'm guessing they're the timeline stones. They were in the promo video when Everton Way was announced.

I don't think any of us think loans are better than permanent signings... it's purely pragmatism that we need more players than we can buy this summer.

There are so many holes to fill in the squad that I think it's impossible to imagine we won't be maxing out our loan spots next season.
