ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It’s amusing how any time we take something off that lot, there has to be a national campaign from their players, fans, pundits etc, regarding how lucky we were, and an instantaneous agenda around them deserving to win.

We hit the post, missed the best chance of the game, and had a goal controversially chalked off for offside. On top of that, we had numerous other chances and controlled the game for large periods.

Absolute bores they are.

They’re very good at winning the propaganda when they can’t win the game

I think you're right, but I think that the public are starting to see through the "charm" of Klopp. His excuses and bad touchline behaviour intensify when they're not winning. Wolves at home and Chelsea away are their next two in the league. They've then got Brighton, Arsenal and City. That will be the making or breaking of their league campaign. Brace yourselves for a relentless media campaign in the next six weeks whereby opponents will be talked down and they will be bigged up.

Sadly Wolves are tragic at the moment. They’ve had Bournemouth and Wolves two hapless teams at just the right time to play them. Newcastle’s B team was a gift for them as well. They always get a leg up when they need it but would be good if some of the rest of the top 6 could beat them to really let some rot set in.

Forget the title, that RS team will be lucky to make the top four. They where lucky today to steal a point against quite possibly the worst Everton team in a generation and they only managed that because the ref, his and VAR team handed it to them.

In terms of effort they did unbelievably well today but its going to take more then that to convince me that this team is better then any of the dross we had in the 90's. Nobody will be happier then me if this team gets better and proves me totally and utterly wrong though.
