I thought var would make Things more fair. It doesnt, and it ruins the spontanic feelings of joy when scoring, cause you have to wait to celebrate, and then the spur of the moment is a bit over. Scrap it
The whole line thing should be scrapped. Unless you have cameras running the length of the touchlines, and some technology to understand the millisecond a ball left a boot, then it should be gone.
VAR should
1). check to see whether a player is CLEARLY offside, i.e no lines needed
2). Go with decision of the official, who should give the benefit to the attacker.

I thought our goal looked like it was easily offside, but the VAR to me made it seem closer than it looked, and did think VD could and may should have had a Red
Shouted offside as soon as it went in so no issues there. Not looking at the VVD tackle and then the laughable rules explanation from Peter Walton made me through a sock at the TV.
Quite clearly not excessive force nor studs up.
Arguably Onana shinning VVD(rip)’s sole and probably lucky to not get a second yellow himself.

Scrapping it won't make an ounce of difference, it will just go back to the bent refs, allowing decisions, favouring the 'righteous', its happened ever since I started watching football!
