Time for him to be creative with his tactics and earn his wage. He's been fully on board with getting no additional vstriker in otherwise he'd have been much more vocal in saying what he needs.

Time to play 4321 I think.

Pickford
Patterson-Tarkowski-Coady-Mykolenko
Gana-Garner-Onana
Iwobi--Gordon
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
So we're just gonna drop Gray who's been pretty decent tbf, don't think so

2 New Full Backs signed, 2 new starting CBs signed, a whole new 3 man Midfield signed, Back up Striker, Back up Wide forward.

5 fairly young players to add to Gordon.

Frank and this team are going to need time, whether Frank gets that, is doubtful, its the Premier League, nobody has the luxury of time.

Overall "he" replaced the defence and midfield everybody said needed work and hes got a "decent" back up Striker in.

We are still light in certain areas, but whats done is done, over to you Franky.

Better midfield should mean at least slightly less defensive work for the attacking players AND better support for them in attack and better chance creation for the main striker. Hopefully more than make up for the loss of goals/drive of Richy

That’s assuming though it will be a better midfield and the newbies stay free of the Everton injury plague.

Not as down on McNeill prospects with us than most on here. Don’t think he’s really had much chance to show what he has in attack, although given he didn’t do much with the moments he did have. Did the solid part well at Leeds, keep that up and it’s a good base to build off for his main game

Was this Chelsea 04-05 near enough?

---------------Cech
Johnson Gallas Carvalho Bridge
-------------Makalele
Robben Parker Lampard Duff
--------------Drogba

Been 17 years since, and im struggling with 17 minutes ago...
Who'd we reckon on the good board of the G.O.T. that Lampard has as his template side to configure against...?
